Perth singer-songwriter Littlehawk traverses pop, rock, electronic and folk in his debut album Chinchilla (March 2018) and follow up singles "Say It Twice" – described as being "incredibly infectious" by Happy Mag, and "Dream" – a synth-pop tribute to his second daughter.
Chinchilla was launched to a sold-out crowd at Four5Nine and was followed up with a second full band show at Mojos Bar in Fremantle. The album charts the personal journey of songwriter Gavin Arnold over the past ten years – with themes of love, hope, imagination, melancholy and reflection – and its release coincided with the birth of his first baby. The 12-track album was recorded and mixed by Matt Gio at Rada Studios and mastered by Grammy award-winner William Bowden at King Willy Sound.
Littlehawk has performed at the Yagan Square opening in the Perth CBD, the State Theatre Courtyard, Brookfield Place, and live performances on ABC Perth radio, Twin Cities FM, RTRFM's Breakfast and Rockin' the Roots. His tracks have also been played on Double J, Mix 94.5 and community stations across the country.
